Itinerary:
0730hr Meet at Kianggeh jetty for registration.
0800hr Depart by boat to Bangar , Temburong ( 45 minutes interesting ride)
0845hr Arrive at Bangar Town ( 15 minutes stop)
0900hr Proceed to Sumbiling Eco Village-“SEV” by bus(20 minutes)
0850hr Arrive at SEV and take a brief walk into the Village ( 10 minutes)
0900hr Arrive at SEV with morning tea and local refreshment.
0930hr Safety briefing before heading to Motong Jungle herbal trail to learn about the Rainforest as a supermarket for the local villager. You will learn about the usefulness of various herb & medicinal plant, edible jungle fruit & vegetable and even Shampoo from leave!. Our village guide will also explain to you about other Flora & Fauna found in this special jungle called MOTONG.
1200hr Trek out from Jungle to have local lunch at SEV. Relax till time for other activities.
1300hr Proceed upriver by Temuai or trek along the river to do traditional Rafting down back to SEV. Not too long ago, villager use traditional raft make of Bamboo and light tree trunk for travelling up and down in the river. You will have a change to learn how they do it and experience it yourself.
1400hr Raft back to SEV, freshen up and get ready for yet another experience.
1445hr Depart SEV for Iban longhouse. Learn about their daily lifestyle and how they live harmony with each other. You will also be invited to visit their home.
1530hr Depart longhouse for Bangar ( 20 minutes)
1550hr Arrive at Bangar, last minutes shopping for Temburong delicacy like “WAJID” or the famous “UDANG GALAH” or season “DURIAN”, “Langsat” ( Oct/Nov)
1615hr Depart by boat back to Bandar Seri Begawan.
1700hr Arrive back to BSB for fond memories of Sumbiling Eco Village.
Tour Includes: All boat & land transportation, morning tea with refreshment, herbal walk on Flora & fauna, team building activities- traditional rafting, longhouse morning tea& refreshment.

What to expect :
As an outdoor trip, itinerary and times indicated are subject to change without notice, as trips may be affected by rain, heat, high or low water levels in the river.Clean Modern toilet and shower . Meals will be local cook local style consists of Chicken, Fish & vegetable. It is recommended that you bring your own high energy bar e.g. mixed fruit bar for trekking. Hot water will be available for coffee or tea at Sumbiling Eco village.
Recommended to wear :
Light, easy to dry shorts & t shirts during trekking, light trekking shoes with good grip, a favourite cap to cover your head, face towel for those who sweat a lot.
Evening wear - light, easy to dry long pants, socks, light cotton long sleeve shirt and a pair of sandals or thongs.
Recommended to Bring :
Light rucksack, changes of clothes, sun lotion, hat, raincoat, camera, binoculars (only if you are bird watcher), small towel for the walk, towel + toiletries, swimsuit, insect repellent- non aerosol type, tiger balm will do. A small flashlight or head torch. A change of clothes and towel for use on return to Sumbiling Eco village.
Some snacks like energy bars e.g. mixed fruit bars, chocolate, sweets and drinks (any isotonic drink or packets of oral rehydration salts) in case you get hungry and thirsty en route.

Description
Journey begins with an exciting river cruise from Bandar Seri Begawan to Bangar. Beginning the River Cruise takes us on the Brunei River passing through the famous Water Village known as the “Venice of the East” by early European. Boat cutting through River channel lined with dense mangrove rainforest and Nipal Palm same vegetation as those found in Amazon River.
Meet and greet by local guide at Bangar Jetty and transfer overland to Sumbiling Eco Village. Sumbiling Eco Village is an Eco tourism project where local Community of Temburong is involved especially those from Kampong Sumbiling Lama & Batang Duri. It is situated by a calm beautiful Temburong River bank surrounded by rainforest & local exotic fruit trees. Facilities available are traditional Iban huts, jungle herbs trail, camp site, modern clean toilets & shower/changing rooms. Tour include trekking into the “Heart Of Borneo” at Mutong River, Bamboo forest, Simpur Forest, Pitcher plant, Jungle grape, jungle Lychee, all sort of Herbs & medicinal plant, visit Iban Long house, local lifestyle, traditional local meals, Night walk in search of nocturnal wildlife, team building etc A nature paradise for you to discover!
Day One
1400 hr Meet at Bandar Jetty, Bandar Seri Begawan
1415 hr Depart via Water taxi Boat to Bangar, Temburong
1500 hr Arrive at Bangar, Temburong
1515 hr Depart via Bus to Sumbiling Eco Village
1545 hr Arrive at Sumbiling Eco Village with welcome drink, briefing & check in to your camp.
1630 hr Proceed with villager to collect vegetable for dinner.
1730 hr back from village activities, Shower or swim (river permit) and get ready for dinner. .
1830 hr Dinner
2000 hr Night walk to discover nocturnal wildlife like frog &firefly. We will also visit longhouse at night, chit chat, and make friends with villager to learn about their lifestyle.
2130 hr Walk back to your camp.
2200 hr Night tea with snack. Get ready for a nice sleep.
2230 hr Light out.

0630 hr Wake up to a great day!.

0900 hr Briefing by guide before crossing the Temburong River by Temuai (Local longboat)
Trek into the “Heart of Borneo” During your eco trek; learn how the local villager uses the forest as their supermarket. Our trek will include trek into “Simpur forest” (Simpur are national flower of Brunei), “Bamboo Forest” “Wild fruit forest”, “Herb forest” and finally to Mutong River
Enjoy the beautiful sight of Mutong River with its Canopy
1000 hr reach our jungle base camp for a break.
1030 hr Start River trek along Mutong River, we will use our life vest to float down part of the Pristine Mutong River, some part is covered with forest canopy
1200 noon Reach back to Sumbiling Eco Village & shower & freshen up.
1300 hr enjoy a traditional lunch
1500 hr Depart for Bangar, for water taxi back to Kianggeh jetty, BSB
16:30 pm Arrive at Kianggeh Jetty, Bandar Seri Begawan

Itinerary:
Day one
0800hr Arrive at Kianggeh jetty at Jalan Residency.
0830hr Depart by boat to Bangar , Temburong ( 45 minutes interesting ride)
0915hr Arrive at Bangar Town and continue by bus to Sumbiling eco Village- SEV(30minutes)
0945hr Arrive at SEV and take a brief walk into the Village ( 15 minutes)
1000hr Arrive at SEV with morning tea and light refreshment. And check into your traditional roofed accommodation with your own sleeping gear. We provide Camp or mosquito net and sleeping mat.( 60minutes)
1100hr Ice breaking & group activities, follow by orientation around the SEV.( 60 minutes)
1200hr Lunch time & relax ( 2 hr)
1400hr Village activities, visit longhouse heading out to jungle to collect food for dinner & laying fish trap & fishing by the river bank, study about river environment like collecting stone and drift wood for night camp fire ( 1hr 30 minutes)
1530hr Afternoon break.
1600hr Traditional cooking lesson like Barbeque Bamboo chicken, check fish trap and preparing for dinner.
1700hr Fun time in the river( river activities all with life jacket) then freshen up.

1930hr Star gazing, learn some local name of star, night walk with touch light to search for fire fly, frog and other nortunal insect.
2100hr Night snack with hot chocolate & light biscuits and get ready for sleep

1530hr High tea at SEV, rest of the afternoon, fishing, swmming, sun bathing or just plain relax to enjoy the peaceful environment.

1930hr Camp fire activities with game & sing along.
2130hr Get ready for the night

0900hr River Safety & exercise, experience villager will show them on river safety ( River Rafting is subject to river condition, only during low level water). Alternately, student will enjoy a Temuai ride back to SEV.( All participant are compulsory to wear life jacket at all time during river activities, Longboat will be with rafter by the side by all time.
1100hr Back to SEV, refresh and lunch ( 2hr)
1300hr Get ready to check out, group photo session.
1400hr Depart SEV for Bangar.
1430hr Arrive at Bangar and continue by boat back to Bandar Seri Begawan.
1530hr Arrive at Kianggeh jetty and by bus back to school.
1600hr Arrive back to ISB school compound with fond memories of Sumbiling Eco Village. End.
