Sumbiling Eco Village is located in Kg Sumbiling Lama, Temburong district. It has a population of less than 100 people. Only acessable by road, 15 km from Bangar Town. It has a very old Iban longhouse where they are still 4 families staying in the longhouse . The villagers are proud of hier Iban heritage & culture. Visit thier longhouse is like walking back to history.

1) Take a public boat from Kianggeh jetty at Jalan Residency, Bandar Seri Begawan. Next to Kianggeh market " Tamu" and side by side at the open food stall in front of watervillage.
Public boat to Bangar cost B$6/ trip. and student is B$5/trip. The boat ride itself is very interesting 45 minutes ride passing through ancient Mangrove swamp and riding on 3 great river " The historical Brunei river", "The mighty Limbang river of Malaysia" and the beautiful "Temburong river". You might see Crocodile & monkey along the way.
2) Upon reaching Bangar, a small & only town of Temburong with 2 rows of Shop and a Bank " BIBD Bank". However the market sell many delicous food like "wachit" a sticky brown rice wrap in leave". Famous Udang Gala- fresh water lobster- must try- 250gram Masak Merah only cost B$10 good for 2-3people eat. and many others nice thing found in Bangar.
3) from Bangar by Car " Can hire at B$30.00 for return trip, one way B$20/trip seat 4 perour son.
as only 15 km it only took 20 minutes to reach" sumbiling eco Village".
